Lions just announced they are going to add voidable years to the contract.. which lowers the cap hit this season and spreads it out over the next two years.. WHICH I LOVE..!!! Really impressive move by Holmes.. as I said yesterday not mad at signing the kid.. just did not like the deal.. now.. if the kid plays great and the team wants to keep him.. they restructure.. and really lose nothing.. and if he is terrible and they let him walk after the season the cap impact is negligible and they freed up some more money to work with this season.. really wish I could do things like this in Maddedn.. it would make it loads easier to work within the confines of the cap..

Not a fan of the signing.. 1 year 10 million..!!!! Whelp those goes the cap space.. Not opposed to the player.. he was not my first choice.. but he is young and talented.. so not mad at the player.. but displeased with the contract.. I guess time will tell.. it is clearly a show me deal.. but 10 million is a lot for a show me deal..
