For those who may not know.. I am a Detroit Lions fan.. I have been for roughly 30 years now.. (yes I'm an old fella.. >40 lol..) I was there for the days of Barry Sanders.. Luther Ellis.. Robert Porcher.. Scott Mitchel was the QB.. heck.. I was there when we had the carousel of Ware, Kramer, and Pete.. I lived through the Harrington days (related note.. I feel that id got a bad wrap.. he was a talent.. but.. lost his confidence and fell apart.. I do understand the argument that QB1 has to be mentally tougher than that.. but.. shame what went down with that kid..).. I was even around for the Stafford Calvin days.. (Calvin is great.. but I think a lot of that was Stafford making him look even better..)
Coming into the 2022 season.. I have taken the time to put together my projected roster for the fall.. it is not a dream team.. but rather a realistic look.. some players are here simply because they are here.. some are free agents I pray they either sign, or re-sign.. I have created two different renditions of this list based on moves made.. and will be working on a third in the coming days now that franchise tags have been used.. (R.I.P. Chris Godwin.. he was my number one dream for free agency.. and those dirty Bucs tagged him for the second year in a row.. either give the kid a fat contract like he deserves or cut him loose.. (teams should not be able to tag dudes consecutive years man.. ))
